A word From Our Medical Director

“In England, 61.3% of adults are overweight or obese, putting them at a higher risk of getting type 2 diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers. Excess weight can also make it more difficult for people to find and keep work, and it can affect self-esteem and mental health. Despite this, there is very little help available and people are turning increasingly to the private sector. Technology has rapidly advanced and treatments are now more effective, more affordable and with less downtime for the average patient. However, in order to achieve a significant weight loss, it is clear that the answer lies not only in technology and procedures, but also with focusing on diet and exercise.

“Our body strives to balance blood sugar levels in a narrow therapeutic range by a variety of hormones, yet often our diet is fighting against this process. If blood sugars levels go too high, this leads to arterial damage and the conversion to fat. If blood sugar levels go too low, this leads to low mood, tiredness and poor concentration. It is clear that the key to an optimum diet is through balancing blood glucose levels by eating the right amount of food at the right times. Calories are obviously important in weight loss, but restricting calorific intake too much is detrimental. This can lead to reduced muscle mass and strength, reduced bone mineral density and increased fracture risk, increased susceptibility to infection and adverse hormonal changes.

The benefit of exercise has long been established for health and weight loss, but has to be appropriate and tailored on an individual basis. Excessive or the wrong type of exercise for someone who is overweight or not used to exercise is likely to cause more harm than good, with damage to joints and tendons and excessive strain on the cardiovascular system.

The 3D-lipolite program tackles the problem head on. We have a three dimensional approach that ensures that by following our unique weight loss plan in conjunction with our award winning technology destroying fat cells, tightening skin and breaking down cellulite and when combined with moderate exercise you can achieve fantastic results.”
